Gasket Extrusion

PDC Gaskets is a division of the PDC group of companies which focuses on manufacturing extrusion for the local window and door industries. Five years ago the company purchased it’s first extruder and now is one of the largest gasket manufacturers in the country.

More than 50 different gasket profiles are extruded in PVC and Santoprene for the glazing of aluminium windows and doors. The PVC can be extruded in black and clear while the Santoprene is only extruded in black. Santoprene is a EPDM /TPV product that has better properties (shrinkage, high temperature resistance, lead free) than the cheaper PVC range and is used in higher end applications eg high rise buildings.

Our extruders have the capacity to extrude over 1.5 m meters of gasket a month.
