Our company is known for being first to try out new ideas, innovations and processes. As a result of the open environment and management style at PDC, a number of ideas and innovations are actively pursued, recorded and implemented. There are a number of firsts that PDC can be proud of, including building the only vertical injection squeeze casting machine in South Africa, being the first to manufacture Semi Solid Material components in collaboration with the CSIR and being at the forefront of high speed hard metal machining for tooling.

The innovation program is critical to increasing productivity and managing costs.
